IJAAR (International Journal of Applied Ayurved Research) (ISSN - 2347 6362) is an open access Bi-monthly (6 issues per year) online Double-Blind peer Reviewed journal.  The journal started in the year 2013 and since its inception, it is continuously contributing to the research, education, and propagation of Ayurveda nationally and internationally. It focuses on original and literary research work done in the field of Ayurveda and allied sciences.  We ensure timely and careful decisions about articles submitted to IJAAR by our strong editorial team.

IJAAR (International Journal of Applied Ayurved Research) is devoted to publishing high quality research and review articles in the field of Ayurved. This peer-reviewed Bi-monthly (6 issues per year) open access journal seeks to enhance the acceptance of Ayurved globally by making it an evidence-based health care system through the high-quality publications. The journal aims to publish papers representing significant advances in the field of Ayurved. This journal is highly beneficial to all who wish to know about the holistic healing perspective of Ayurveda which is one of the most ancient and experienced health care system.

  1. To provide a platform for young researchers, academicians, and healthcare providers to publish and discuss their work related to Ayurveda.
  2. Revalidation of Ayurveda medicines and its basic principles
  3. Ensure that the basic sciences are incorporated to meet the current needs.

Scope of the journal

The Journal covers all eight divisions of Ayurveda including Clinical researches done in the field of Kayachikitsa (General medicine), Panchakarma (five purificatory procedures), Shalya Tantra (Surgery), Shalakya Tantra (ENT & Ophthalmology), Stri Roga & Prasuti Tantra (Gynecology & Obstetrics), Kaumara Bhritya/Bala Roga (Pediatrics), Agad Tantra (toxicology), Swasthavritta (preventive and social medicine), Rasayana (geriatric medicine) and Vajikarana (reproductive health), etc. Drug researches in Dravyaguna (Pharmacology), Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana (Ayurvedic Pharmaceuticals), Literary researches in Samhita & Siddhanta (Basic Principles), Yog along with Ayurveda Itihias (history).  The journal also accepts the articles explaining and exploring the philosophical aspects of Ayurveda, clinical and pharmacological evaluations of herbs, minerals, metals, and animal products, phytochemistry, ethnomedicine, a survey of medicinal plants, nutraceuticals, drug standardization, biotechnology, agriculture, horticulture, and pharmacovigilance, etc. relating to medicinal plants.

Journal Ethics

Ethical standards for publication exist to ensure high-quality scientific publications, public trust in scientific findings, and that people receive credit for their ideas.
